Data protection declaration

When using our website, your personal data (hereinafter referred to as „data“) will be processed. This data may include your name, address, email address and other personal information. Processing basically means any way of dealing with this data.

You will receive information on the processing of your data by the LZS GmbH based on the provisions of the Basic Data Protection Ordinance (General Data Protection Regulation) and the applicable federal and state data protection laws.

A) Purposes and legal basis of our data processing

1. Contact form

You will find a contact form on our website. Personal data entered here is stored by the server of the host provider and subsequently forwarded via email to the receiving mailbox. Forwarding takes place exclusively within the server so that confidentiality of the data will be assured. The legal basis for processing this data is letter b of Article 6(1) sentence 1 of the GDPR. Furthermore, the legal basis for collecting names is letter f of Article 6(1) sentence 1 of the GDPR. Legitimate interest in asking for names lies in offering more personalised services.

Consent given to the processing of other data required in the contact form

In addition to mandatory information, you will have the option to send us other contact information. In this respect, this information will be given voluntarily. Therefore, you will have to consent to the processing of this information. Your consent given here implies data processing to the same extent as was specified for giving mandatory data.

2. Email contact

On our website, there are different options available to establish contact via the email address provided. Your collected personal data, in particular your email address, is stored. This data will not be passed on to third parties. It will only be used for processing your inquiry. The legal basis for processing of data is letter f of Article 6 (1) sentence 1 of the GDPR. Legitimate interest in processing data lies in establishing contact. Any data stored will be deleted once the purpose of the communication has ceased. When an inquiry has been processed, this data will be deleted after expiration of the retention period provided for this purpose.

3. IT security

Finally, we also process data in both our interests in order to guarantee the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the data processing systems, i.e. in particular to provide the security and availability of your data at LZS GmbH. Our website and our app cannot be used without processing data. The processing of this data is legally based on letter f of Article 6(1) sentence 1 of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in maintaining and safely providing our services.

B) Transfer of data beyond EU borders

Data we collect will only be stored by servers in the European Union and it will not be transferred to companies outside the European Union unless you agree. This also applies to service providers commissioned by us for the purpose of data processing with the exception of the service providers listed below.

C) Data receiver

Your data will only be transferred via a secure connection.

To be able to offer you all available functions, we also use service providers who will process data on our behalf. We will only pass on data within the framework of legally authorised service providers which have been carefully selected and commissioned in writing by us. They will only receive data which will be necessary to complete the order.

The following contractors will be included: Web analysis service providers, server hosts.

D) Duration of data storage

For all processing operations, the length of time of data storage is determined on the basis of a balance of interests or consent given in the previous list of processing operations. When data is processed on the basis of a contract, it will be deleted after execution of the contract unless we are legally obligated to further store or retain your information. As long as your data is required for processing outstanding transactions, this data will be deleted after the processing of these transactions has been completed.

E) Data processing for web analysis, trackers and other plugins

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. All data stored or any order processors used by us are protected against unauthorized access, loss and alteration in accordance with current security standards. Therefore, comprehensive technical and organisational security precautions are applied with a standard that complies with legal requirements.

G) Your rights and ways to complain
